Kaldereta...Kermis...K(C)ramming


Friends came over to visit last weekend, and I prepared my special dish...Kaldereta...Modesty aside, it was an ultimate hit!Patok sa takilya!Hahaha...Especially that all my "secret" ingredients are not as scarce (hmm and pricey?) as they used to be back home...Yummy!!!!

After the long weekend, we both had to do some studying before we go back to the renowned Regina Coeli Language Institute for the second week of our Dutch course...This language institute is very popular, oftenly referred to as the "Nuns in Vught"...Today the nuns are gone, replaced by very capable teachers.For the cost of this course, we are kind of pressured to learn the language fast...Plus the fact that our colleagues have been chaffing that the moment we are back, Geen Engels!!!Hence the Kkrrramming(I'm practicin' my Dutch guttural C)!!! He3x

I could not talk-a-mile-a-minute with the Dutch language yet, mmm not yet (nog niet!), but I hope it will come soon...Hubs did so well with the grammar and all, and me with the pronunciation(I hope so) so I just hope that we pick it up fast...That is if we are disciplined enough...Maar denk Ik dat met veel oefening, wij zullen! :)
