Mission to Mun...doy

After arriving from Abilene, the next day we (Roger,Rey and moi) found ourselves getting ready for yet another assignment, este, trip...To the Eastcoast! To Pennsylvania! To visit Raymund's lair :)
Carrying a brown envelope with detailed instructions and the car keys for Mund's car parked at Baltimore Airport, we felt like we were on a "spy mission". (Raymund prepared a "guide" for the traveling trio since at that time he was still in Houston and arriving a day later.)

Mund: From the lift, just straight-ahead, the car is parked 10-steps away.
(Mund, daw sa akon ya isip bala 12 steps? Ay kay size 6 lang ya tiil ko mo!-Bebsy)

Does this go on auto-pilot?

Yes everything went smooth: found the car at the airport's parking lot, figured out the car controls, entered the right information for the navigation system... we were the picture of consummate confidence. Jason Bourne could have not done better!

Mund: Once at Saddleback Road, you can easily spot our house with the Christmas Light "train" arrangement in the front lawn.(Teh mayo lang kay gasiga ang lights!)
Mund: Press the button in the car to open the Garage Door.

Coolness personified na tani...galing:

Roger: "Okay, we are in. Amm, wait, guys, now, how do we close the garage door?"
Rey: "Let's look for the switch"
Bebsy: "Close Sesame!"

After pressing all the buttons in the car and on the wall in the garage, we gave up and called Raymund in Houston (yors, swabe na tani pru).Man matugnaw bala :)

Roger: "Mund, success gid instructions mo! Ari na kami sa imo balay! Bilib2x gid kami kay detalyado gid, pate OPEN ka garage door dala...kaso ang pag CLOSE wala mo nabutang! He3x"

We were laughing so hard when we found the "switch" that we might have awoken the peeps who were already deep in slumber (we arrived past midnight). Famished from the long travel, after putting our bags to "our" rooms, I went straight to the dinner table to check the food! I was so thrilled of having daing na bangus and sinigang, that I did not realize the host's presence. "Ay ako gali si Bebsy, namit ka bangrus ah!" He3x

Mund: Rey and Bebsy, this is your room!

Mund: "Jard, RIGHT bed!"

"Nakibot ka Perl?" (2AM, Dec. 30)

"Tulog lang to liwat Perl, patigayon lang kami di ah..."

But yeah, all is well that ends well. After a hearty dinner of sinigang and inihaw na bangus, we got ready for bed. Of course, since "tomorrow is another day" ;) (Daw James Bond ba!)
