We're in Abilene....Finally!
Zie: "But I was waiting for you guys patiently the whole day!"
(hidlawanay gid sila ba!)
*a "hairline" difference
The restaurant's sushi bar has great reviews, but we wanted to try the "HIBACHI" experience...
(Master, teach me kungfu...)
The hibachi grill was a lot of fun especially if you have young diners. The chef entertained the kids (and the adults as well!) with some tricks and sleight of hand...Darling Aya, got the scare of her life when the chef accidentally spilled "soysauce" all over her favorite purple shirt :)
"Jaw-dropping" for everyone! But I think, everybody's favorite was the chef's "onion volcano". It really must have been one cool trick, to get that compelling rapt attention from Troy ;)
"Slice the onion and stack it to make a cone..."
Troy: " Hmmm, interesting"...add oil and water, and:
Troy: "Cool!!!""Boss" Rey: "Oh no, my face, my face!"
"Thank you Ate Millet and Kuya Ge for the treat :) "

After lunch, we went to the mall to buy the children their presents...They were very content and happy recipients at the end of the day :) Then after dinner, it was packing time for Zette as she had to bring back a lot of her stuff to Houston....and of course more bonding time with the kids... Troy had me laughing over his theatrical rendition of the "No Scope" song. Very funny!
Dec. 28. Bye bye baby :)
